Representatives of area lakes (the President or Vice-President of the Associations typically) meet once or twice a year to talk about matters of mutual concern and to share information, often having regular guests from various agencies such as RVCA and annual ones such as OPP.
Seven lake associations were represented at the first meeting in 2004 and currently there are representatives from 28 Eastern Ontario lake associations. The Group has remained an informal gathering of lake representatives united by a common desire to work together and learn from one another.
Tay Valley Township has supported the Lake Networking Group by providing space at the Burgess Hall for their meetings.
Members take turns in providing notes of these meetings. Some notes have been posted below.
